Overview

Clear Bundles helps Shopify merchants create and manage product-page bundle offers, BOGO offers, Buy X Get Y offers, quantity breaks, and related storefront promotions. The app collects the minimum data needed to run bundle offers, apply discounts, support merchants, and improve reliability.

Data We Collect

We may store shop and merchant app data, including:

• Shop domain and Shopify session data required for authentication.
• App plan and billing plan handle.
• Bundle configuration, including selected product IDs, variant IDs, product titles, product handles, product images, bundle type, layout settings, badges, color settings, discount rules, product roles, and activation status.
• Bundle readiness and launch QA status.

To help merchants understand whether bundle widgets are working, we may store privacy-safe storefront events such as widget views, offer selections, add-to-cart attempts, add-to-cart successes, add-to-cart failures, selected item count, related product or variant ID, and timestamp.

The current app does not store customer names, customer emails, customer addresses, IP addresses, payment details, or order shipping details in storefront analytics.

How We Use Data

• Display and manage bundle offers inside Shopify admin.
• Render storefront bundle widgets.
• Apply bundle discounts through Shopify discount logic.
• Show readiness checks and Bundle Safety Score.
• Help merchants test storefront and cart behavior.
• Improve app reliability and merchant guidance.
• Provide support.

Retention and Deletion

Bundle configuration is kept while the merchant uses the app. Storefront activity events are retained for 90 days and older events are automatically removed during new event writes.

When a merchant uninstalls the app, shop-owned app data and sessions are deleted.

Shopify Compliance Webhooks

The app subscribes to Shopify compliance webhooks:

• customers/data_request
• customers/redact
• shop/redact

Because the current app does not store customer profile data, customer data request and customer redact webhooks are acknowledged without returning customer profile records. For shop redact and app uninstall events, shop-owned bundle data, analytics events, plan data, and sessions are deleted.

If you join our early-access list, we store your email address and signup time to send the launch updates you requested. This list is separate from shopper and merchant-store data. Contact us to withdraw consent or request deletion, or reply to a launch email to unsubscribe.
